Who is Eligible to Participate?
All children ages kindergarten – 6th grade

Bike Rodeo Events
• Safety presentation provided by Boerne PD
• Bike & helmet safety inspections and presentation provided by Britton’s Bicycle shop.
• Raffle for fun prizes.
• Group events divided into 3 age groups.
• Prizes will be awarded to each age group.

Food and Drink
Corner Store – Drinks & snacks.
Taking it to the Streets – Burgers & hot dogs.

In the event of bad weather, all registrants will be EMAILED postponement information before 6am the day of the event.

Space is limited to 150 children, so sign up soon, please use the form below.

Additional Information:

There will be a check-in table at the event, please plan on staying with your child for the duration of the event. Please bring your child’s bike and helmet to the event, an unloading area will be marked for bike drop off. A map of the event will be provided on this page the week of the event with parking and additional information.

    Please enter the names of the children who are participating, use the + to add additional children. Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event.

  • I, the undersigned parent and/or legal guardian of the child/ren attending the Hill Country Optimist Club Bike Rodeo (the “Event”), do hereby give my permission and approval for his/her/their and my participation in the Event and therefore assume all risks and hazards incidental to my and his/her/their attendance at the Event and such participation, including but not limited to the risk of serious harm or injury as a consequence of undetected physical conditions on any playing field or surface, negligence of any instructor or intentional conduct of any other participant. I understand that any sports activity possesses inherent risks to healthy individuals and further certify that she/he/they are in good physical health and hereby consent to his/her/their participation in the Event.

    In signing this waiver, I also acknowledge that I have been advised of the following: If a child has a special medical need (severe food allergies, asthma, etc.) it is my responsibility to monitor what that child eats/consumes during the Event. The food provided is merely as convenience and the sponsors will not be held responsible for the above medical needs.

    On behalf of any child under my care at the Event and myself, I freely and voluntarily agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless the Hill Country Optimist Club, Roy Maas’ Youth Alternatives, Identified Sponsors, its administrators, contractors, parent volunteers, monitors and instructors from any and all liabilities arising from any incident to participation in the Event.
